Hi there everyone!
I'm trying to share a machine folder through Virtualbox and while I've successfully mounted the folder, I'm told I have sufficient permissions to use the directory.
I've looked in media and sf_Shared shows user "root:vboxsf" as the user and group. When I try "chown schwim:schwim" as a sudo command, I get no error but the ownership does not change.
What do I need to do to be able to use this folder?
Thanks for your time!

Thanks so much for the help! That got the folder accessible.
I now have an issue when I try to delete a file, I'm told that it is unable to find or create the trash directory. I searched a bit and found this VBox bug ticket that states it's not a bug but just something that has to be handled in the guest.
Which I'd like to do. If possible, I'd love the mounted folder to use BL's default trashcan. If that's not a possibility, I'd like to install one on the mounted folder. If both of those are a no-go, I'd be happy just changing the file manager to delete the files permanently but that would be only as a last resort.
