Hi,
Nice distro but, imho, bit buggy....
After trying to customize my setup, I noticed that something is wrong:
some apps lost the decoration on the buttons/tabs etc.
example the prefs of the volume control:
I am missing something there? looks like to me franken-mixing of elements of various desktops?
thanks in advance for any tips/ideas.

This looks like a theme issue. Try temporarily reverting to the default Beam theme (PNMixer's prefs look fine for me) then see how other themes behave.
...and all Bug Reports are most welcome!

After trying to customize my setup
which theme did you choose?
this looks like a gtk3 version mismatch.
i am also sometimes seeing this on my archlinux desktop (so not distro-specific).
the solution is to use a different theme.
a general system upgrade might also be in order.

Hi,
Thanks for the help.
I am using the "Raleigh" theme, indeed a different theme helps, I will try to find a similar theme, in fact I am using that specific theme for ages, mainly because of the good contrast for my old eyes.
thanks again!

i feel you, it is difficult to find good light, but not too bright themes.
kindof grayish, yet still enough contrast.
But I always found the "Bunsen" or "Bunsen-He" theme to be quite good in that respect?

anyway, thx to friend I managed to find a theme that works well for me, its based on Raleigh theme, decoration on buttons don't suffer from that bug.
thanks again for the tips!
