keyboard not working in kernal mode

I have an Asus UX360O Notebook.

With all Linux distros there are some issues across the board.

Touchpad is Elantech touchpad and needs resetting using

xinput --list
xinput disable [then id]
xinput enable [then id]

I have a problem with keyboard not working at all

In BIOS level of kernal mode, all the keys function.
In Bunsenlabs, keyboard does not work.

At first i thought this was a distrution bug, but upon booting from USB a live Bunsenlabs, the keyboard does not work.
