Font size of console window increases

Hi group,
I have been using BL Linux for a while now and love it. One quirky thing that has been bothering me for a while though is: when I launch the console from the icon on top, the initial two consoles start off with a smaller font (which is what I want), but then all subsequent consoles start off with much larger font size. Any idea how this can be happening or how I can fix this?

I assume you mean you're using the default terminal, Terminator?

Try renaming ~/.config/terminator (to terminator.bak), for instance, and restart Terminator. Then set your preferences and see what happens.
