[SOLVED] Date display on top panel

Hi.  Brand new to bunsenlabs.  And completely lost.  How do I change the date display at the top right corner?  I know the codes to display date and time as I want it, but no idea where to plug them in. Thanks.

The panel is called tint2 and the stock configuration is at ~/.config/tint2/tint2rc

I think there are some entries for it in the Preferences section of the Openbox main menu (right-click on the empty desktop).
