Re: [Solved] Popcorn Time

Try uninstalliing your current version and installing a new version...

https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-install- … etch-linux

I haven't tested those instructions, sorry. Also, be aware of the security risks.

Re: [Solved] Popcorn Time

^Try to do it step by step:
1) go to some directory you own (your $HOME is ok)
2) create required dir (probably already done)

$ sudo mkdir /opt/popcorn-time

3)

$ wget https://get.popcorntime.sh/build/Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-32.tar.xz

and wait for download to finish. (This part has gone wrong somehow in your case, it seems.)
4)

$ sudo tar xJf Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-32.tar.xz -C /opt/popcorn-time

The part 'Download Popcorn Time binaries' is now done. You may proceed further ...

If there is an error in any of those steps, let us know what it is.

Re: [Solved] Popcorn Time

Strange ... I just downloaded file with wget with command in 3). Is your connection perhaps firewalled? Or this particular webpage is 'forbiden' by your ISP?
(I'm in Croatia, BTW ... you?)
