Looks like the ArchLabs forums are locked to those who don't have an account -- can't even view the threads unless I sign up (I never did get around to signing up there). What's up with that? Please don't do that here at the BL forums! Not sure that I want to keep running ArchLabs...

We might do it temporarily if we had some sort of security breach (if we were hacked), but otherwise no. @nobody is on top of things here at BunsenLabs web-wise, not to worry.
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

I was testing shit out the other day. Not sure why viewing or not viewing the forum would impact you on running AL?

Something broke down today. I was booted off and couldn't get back in for about 4 hours. Wasn't getting a message about needing to be a member, site just wouldn't come up.

Sorry, I see that it's back to normal now.
I didn't know what was going on, but my feeling, at the time, was that I had never heard of this being done with any other distro, where you can't even view forum threads unless you have an account and are logged in. I felt that I would rather not use a distro that does that sort of thing. It might seem silly to you, but the way I was looking at it, it left a bad taste, as they say.
Anyway, I'm glad that it was just a temporary thing.
By the way, I'd actually prefer to do an Arch installation and then add only Openbox, no desktop environment. But I'm having trouble understanding the installation instructions with regards to UEFI and grub. My other Arch installations were done on older hardware. The UEFI stuff is making me feel stupid. ArchLabs is so close to "straight" Arch that it almost seems like a waste of time to do an Arch Openbox installation from scratch, but I want to try to do it.

The forum went through an upgrade this morning as well. Could be why you couldn't get on Rat?

That may be it. Sounds about right with the time differential.

Not long now, about to do a new release tonight!
EDIT:
We just pushed the ISO to Sourceforge.

Great work on the latest iso guys, thanks! Maybe it is time to ditch sid in favor of you?
But why three (Alt+F1, Ctrl+Space and S) different key combos for rofi?
Just curious.

Because "Rolling On the Floor Indefinitely" should be confusing.
Just saying
Debian 12 Beardog, SoxDog and still a Conky 1.9er

What environment is that?
@S11 LOL you could be on to something there!

What environment is that?
Just a plain Openbox, with a just a few applications added. Nothing out of the ordinary. I have changed the "Alt+F1" combo to "Alt+F3" since I posted above. Installed "dmenu" so I got it as in BL. Did not want to go too far out of my comfort zone.
Edit; rofi settings in ArchLabs Openbox rc.xml:
<keybind key="A-F1">
<action name="Execute">
<command>rofi_run -r</command>
</action>
</keybind>
<keybind key="C-space">
<action name="Execute">
<command>rofi_run -r</command>
</action>
</keybind>
<keybind key="W-x">
<action name="Execute">
<command>rofi_run -l</command>
</action>
</keybind>
<keybind key="C-A-Delete">
<action name="Execute">
<command>rofi_run -l</command>
</action>
Plus the "S" Windows key. This is copied and pasted from a second installntha I made in Virtualbox to double check, but it is identical to the one from the hard install, before I made the change mentioned above.

Thanks Dobbie03, will have a look at it in a VM enviroment. And let you know either way.

Sorry Dobbie03, nothing to complain about so far. A couple of hiccups due to user mixunderstandings only.
By the way though, conky were commented out by default in my Openbox install. Is that inteded? Anyway, great fun for me and Archlabs is a good incentive for me to acquaint me with some basic Arch stuff. And the installer...tastes like chocolate

Thanks!
I'm not sure about conky. We slimmed this release down even further, can't quite remember even if we shipped conky included.
I love our installer
