It seems like fdpowermon is extraneous now that xfce-power-manager's battery icon works properly in stretch. I end up with two battery icons on boot. Commenting out fdpowermon in ~/.config/openbox/autostart removes the extra battery icon.

I was pleasantly surprised at the return of xfce4 power manager icon. Although i would rather have access to settings via left click not right click. Not in stretch at present (using Devuan) but will look if there is a setting to change to left mouse click or maybe someone can confirm here?

@tk fdpowermon is not in the Helium install list, nor is it in the default ~/.config/openbox/autostart. I suppose you did an upgrade of your existing Hydrogen system to stretch?

Yeah. That may be why I still have it. I upgraded from bl-deuterium.
