Does BL specific require any special updating over time?

Heya folks!

I've been running the same install of BL since it was available and I just started wondering if I need to do anything outside of apt-get upgrade to keep the BL specific scripts up to date?

Sorry for my density, but something I'm not sure of smile

Thanks for your time!

[EDIT]I forgot to post what I saw that made me think of it in the first place.  In the result of apt-get upgrade:

The following packages have been kept back:
  bunsen-configs

Try a dist-upgrade.

However, BL Hydrogen is now old-stable, so there is unlikely to be anything other than Debian security updates in future.

@schwim:  Welcome back, stranger.  I was just wondering about you recently, noting that I haven't seen any posts from you for awhile.

Oh boy, a new version!  I wasn't paying attention and missed the excitement!

Is there an accepted method of upgrading from old stable BL to stable?  I run it in a VM so risk is nill, I can just roll back to the previous save if something goes awry.

Heya Krunch!  It's very nice to see the crew again. TBH the distro runs so well, my only support needs are with other flavors than BL and I hate to keep bothering everyone with Ubu questions smile

I hope life is treating you well, you're looking good smile

Not yet. At some point there will be a HowTo, but Helium is still being developed. In the meantime, there are many posts on these forums which may help.

Well, you could still pop in once-in-awhile just to say hey or share something.  It doesn't always have to be for asking help.  Of course, if you've found another forum(s) to call home, I can understand.

Life...eh, could be better, could be worse.  I guess I can't complain when you think about all the other things going on...wildfires, war, famine, etc.
