That's so magical. I liked AntiX and have 13.2 on an old laptop that's sitting in my closet.

Digging the crumpled paper icons too.

@Glenn - well done. You have a link to the original wallpaper, reverse searching only brings up cropped images.

@PackRat, Thanks! Sure on a black console background looks great just like your above scrot, but since i use white color, I'm doing better with Inconsolata.

I bought a new laptop. It came with Windows 10. I have no major complaints with Windows 10 yet. They will probably arise eventually. Still running various incarnations of Debian on my older machines.

Re: July 2017 Screenshots

After one week, 60 more packages installed and couple of UI tweaks, I'm very happy with BL at work. Next milestone will be 1 month uptime and final assessment about reliability of the software soup I've installed after first boot up. Still searching for an editor and file manager. Atom seems to be the best candidate so far since it has all the features I need, even if it's heavy on RAM. But... I have zero candidates for file manager. I've got used to Total Commander, its features and plugins, and it seems like I'm too picky about this one.

Did I mention I'm very happy with BL?

*drumroll*

...and here comes the screenshot that looks almost the same as my last one. big_smile

No you didn't  ... tell me again please.*

10 Total Commander Alternatives for Linux
Available in 'jessie' repos:

no - Beesoft Commander - even the webpage is gone
??? - emelFM2 - but we have: emelfm2-svg-icons - strange stuff
yes - gentoo
yes - GNOME Commander - did not get
yes - Krusader - if you want to add ⅝ of KDE - did not get
yes - Midnight Commander (mc) = terminal
no - muCommander - java based.
yes - Tux Commander (tuxcmd)
yes - Worker
yes - XFE

So I grabbed 5:

I could probably get use to a couple of these.
