You must mean icedove, but I do believe Debian is moving back to using Mozilla branded products again so icedove->thunderbird.
Real Men Use Linux

ok thank you.

Actually the move has already happened:
icedove <- no more | now -> thunderbird
iceweasel <- no more | now -> firefox-esr
Debian 12 Beardog, SoxDog and still a Conky 1.9er

If you want to add it to the launchers on the left-hand-side of the panel then you will have to edit the file at ~/.config/tint2/tint2rc and change the # Launcher section.
Add these lines to the bottom of the list of "launcher_item_app"s:
launcher_item_app = /usr/share/applications/thunderbird.desktop
launcher_item_app = /usr/share/applications/calibre-gui.desktop
Then save the file and reload the panel with:
bl-tint2-restart
Good luck!
EDIT: 's/right/left/'

Indeed, it was probably Icedove, which was just a rebranded Thunderbird. Icedove was "branded back" to its original name Thunderbird.
Btw it's possible to transfer your earlier Icedove profile on #! to a freshly installed Thunderbird (if you still have those files from the .icedove folder).

^ Or even better - I do what I do:
"Copy" ~/.thunderbird to /a-data/partition/Thunderbird
I have it at: /media/5/Thunderbird
Look in there you'll see the profiles.ini so in /media/5/Thunderbird/profiles.ini I changed it to:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1
[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=0
Path=/media/5/Thunderbird/xxxxxxxx.default
x'ed out my profile number just for here.
Now in the original ~/.thunderbird directory cp profiles.ini profiles.ini.bak
and copy: /media/5/Thunderbird/profiles.ini to ~/.thunderbird/profiles.ini
Now you can double/triple/quad-oh-you-get-it boot linux and in the " ~/ " of all of them
A. before opening thunderbird for the first time:
- "create your own" ~/.thunderbird directory; with a copy of /media/5/Thunderbird/profiles.ini in it.
- install and start thunderbird - it will start up fully loaded for bear.
=====
This also works for iceweasel/firefox-esr
=====
Also if your system crashes and you have to reinstall everything
1 create ~/.thunderbird and ~/.mozilla with your "profiles.ini"
2 install thunderbird and firefox-esr and you have all your mails and all your bookmarks / addons etc.

I do also the same thing with claws-mail.

pin calibre ??
How are you reading your gmail now? On the web?
In Linux Mint, if you are using thunderbird there you should have a folder: ~/.thunderbird
IF: Yes! copy that folder over to ~/.thunderbird on BL, over write anything Thunderbird has started do do already.
Once copied over; Open Thunderbird, your mail should work fine.

RE: ubuntu cleaner and ukuu kernel
Not a good idea for either, BunsenLabs is NOT Ubuntu.
