Hi,
For some reason this only works for folders in the home directory.
I'm trying to open a folder (in the terminal) on an external hard drive and nothing happens - but I'm sure it used to work in the past.
Any ideas?

^The path is only valid in Thunar (since that's how you mounted disk) < best guess. In other words, it's been mounted differently in the past.

I just don't know - I wonder if it's related to the problem I'm having accessing external hard drives over the network? - I can only do this using the ip address of the host computer.
I've tried rebooting and mounting the drives with thunar - still doesn't work.

is this a split-off from some other thread?
feels like the problem hasn't been explained fully, yet brontosaurusrex knows what it's about?

"Open terminal here" doesn't work for me if there are spaces in the directory name.
