No display

So I just installed BL Deuterium on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1720). During Install and LiveCD I have a GUI. However after installing I can't seem to get the display up. Shell works fine but no graphical display at all. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: No display

What is your graphics hardware?

Have you tried disabling kernel mode setting?

Re: No display

Integrated Intel Graphincs, however if I attach an external monitor, I  have no problems and the Laptop display works. If i disconnect the monitor the laptop display won't come on.

*EDIT:

Added the following to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf in the seatdefault section:

display-setup-script=home/thaery/.screenlayout/default.sh
session-setup-script=home/thaery/.screenlayout/default.sh

Wherfe default.sh is the saved setting from ArandR (make sure the script is executable)
