Hi all,
I'm the author of Gnuinos, based on Devuan, and it uses openbox as a window manager. So, i'm working on some applications in gtk, for example simple-netaid:

I'm also working on a new right click popup menu for openbox in gkt3, dynamic and multilingual:

Hi all,
Simple-netaid has been released, an alternative for wicd without dbus. The packages are available in the following link:
https://gnuinos.org/simple-netaid
I've rewritten it in Gtk2, instead of Gtk3. There are still some issues pending to be fixed: a segmentation fault closing the application, warnings during the compilation, connection attemps for hidden active wifis, etc... But the packages are operative.
You need to install wireless-tools:
# apt-get install wireless-tools
This is because the file:
https://git.devuan.org/aitor_czr/simple … ve_wifis.c
still is not being used.
Here you are some screenshots:
https://gnuinos.org/simple-netaid/screenshots
Hope you like it
Aitor.
