I just installed bl after a long break from linux world.
I've used bl before and back then I had no problems with this headset but now I just cant get any sound.
My speakers work normally but for some reason bl wont let sound trough my headset.

Looks like the device is recognised, can we see the output of:
pacmd list-sinks
(with the headset connected, ofc)

^ Well, there it is.
I am sure you have already tried this but open up pavucontrol and make sure that the headphones are selected, un-muted and have a non-zero volume level — the output of `amixer` may help if you can't figure out the GUI (I have trouble with that).
If the problem is that the device is always state: SUSPENDED then you could try this solution:
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions … -suspended
If all else fails, we can try a newer kernel version:
“Et ignotas animum dimittit in artes.” — Ovid, Metamorphoses, VIII., 18.

Thank you now my sounds work.
For some reason everything was muted in pavucontrol.
