VNC not working

I've used CB for the longest time and just now upgraded to BL.

I tried to setup VNC access by installing the VNC server from the menu and configuring it with dconf.

When using "authentication.methods ['none']", tightvnc viewer on windows just gets stuck and i have to close it with the task manager. When i try to connect using the windows TigerVNC client all i get is a black screen, no mouse movement on the remote pc or even connection notification.

When using "authentication.methods ['vnc']" and setting a password I get "Authentication Faillure" with both clients, even though the password is correct. (I disabled require-encryption since apparently the clients don't support this, i'll just tunnel over ssh when using an insecure connection)

Am I missing something here?
