Hi
My WLAN speeds have plummetted on this installation of BL on this machine. In all browsers, email, telnet, ping etc.
Other machines (BL, other distros, Android, Windows) on the same LAN using same router etc. are all fine.
Windows and other distros on this machine are all fine. (All tested within last hour or so.)
Haven't been anywhere near anything set-up-y for a few days - not even an apt-get update. Plenty of memory, disk space etc.
Can reinstall, but could do without the faff! :-)
Any ideas, anybody? Machine/installation details on request.
Thanks,
Dinks.

Well in regards to the slow machine with BL, are you indeed updated to the current release?
What hardware is the machine that's slow?
Can you provide the output of:
lspci -knn|grep -iA2 'net'
I mean you may not have set anything up but have you installed anything recently? Specifically anything from backports?
Lastly, does the slowness "build up" over time? Meaning when you first boot is it Okay/Normal speeds, but gets slower the longer you use it?
Sorry for the list of questions but it helps to narrow down the issue.

Do these problems still occur if you load up the BunsenLabs live ISO image?

Check the output of iwconfig. It will tell you frequency band and maximum connection speed. If your other devices are on a 5GHz network and the BL machine got bumped down to 2.4Ghz (crappy drivers, crappy hardware, quantum effects...) while it should use 5Ghz, kill the network, the connection or both, reconnect, see what happens. Check dmesg for wifi-related messages.
That will help to narrow down whether the problem is on layers 1&2 or elsewhere.
Otherwise, try flushing the ARP cache.
