for change default terminal from xterm to evilvte in evilwm on antix 16?

Try this:

echo "term evilvte" >> ~/.evilwmrc

Then log out & back in again.

in man eviwm:

-term termprog
specifies an alternative program to run when spawning a new termi‐
nal (defaults to xterm, or x-terminal-emulator in Debian). Sepa‐
rate arguments with whitespace, and escape needed whitespace with a
backslash. Remember that special characters will also need to be
protected from the shell.

^ It does work

Drop to a TTY with <Ctrl>+<Alt>+F2 then log in and run this command:

startx /usr/bin/evilwm -term evilvte

This will launch evilwm with evilvte as the default terminal without needing a file at ~/.evilwmrc to specify it.
