how not to log off everytime the screen goes blank [SOLVED]

I tried to edit the power management settings, but there is no such an option.  I have to re-type my username and password everytime the screen goes blank and it's kind of annoying. Any suggestions?

There are two sliders in the power management "Display" tab.

Is "Handle Display power management" ticked? if yes, then set the slider of "put to sleep after" all the way to the left.
That way the screen will go blank but it won't log you out.

See this post

Just realize this can be dangerous in a public environment, where someone coming after you has free access to your session.
