best way to backup current bunsen set up

Id hate to lose all the mods ive done so far. What is the best way to save and back up my settings? thank you

Many user configs can be saved/restored with "Menu -> Accessories -> BLOB Theme Manager".

You could also copy your dotfiles somewhere: '~/.*'

Why not just make a dd image of your drive?  And create a small script that does it every week or so?

I use https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fu … with_rsync

rsync(1) copies the differences between the last backup and the current system so it only takes a few minutes every week after the first run.

^ & ^^  But those approaches back up everything, unless you know what to --exclude.

If the OP wants to back up mods which aren't Openbox/desktop settings, then I guess he needs to do it manually or write a script to copy the relevant files.
