Sound Problem

Hi,

I have installed bunsenlabs in my laptop. I use it mostly for seeing videos and browsing. But there is a problem in sounds when I use headphone.

Whenever I insert my headphone the sound disappears. I had to restart volti to bring sound back. Also when I unplug the headphone again sound disappears and again I have to restart volti to bring sound back. Restarting volti also doesn't work all the time, many a times I had to restart bunsenlans all together.

Or In volti preference I had to change it to headphone or Master, that also have worked few times but never all the time.

What is the standard solution that if headphone is inserted, it should automatically switch to headphone and if plugged off, it should automatically switch to speaker mode?

Please let me know.

Yes, that should be what happens.

Please plug in your headphones and then run this command and post the full output here:

pkill -USR1 volti

Please also post the output of:

amixer
