...and it will make one person very unhappy!
[rant]
i tried xscreensaver again - so far i'd been more than happy with just using X builtin screenblanking, but i wanted to display time and currently playing song, nothing fancy. how hard can it be? oh, it can, believe me. mostly because xscreensaver insists on overwriting its own config, even the (legal) configurations i made. and the format of the config file is abysmal. and some are the same as xscreensaver's Xresources, others aren't. no logic afaics.
i also had to wade through miles of acid comments by this zawinski guy. made me want to gouge my eyes out. if the software was beyond criticism, or at least reasonably well structured, i would say, ok, you have a right to sit on that high horse.
but no, it isn't.

pepperflashplugin-nonfree Update Google public key; remove 32 bit support
32 bit users, take note.

Google have already pulled the plug on 32bit pepperflash. The Debian package just acknowleges that and saves users from attempting the impossible.

Does this mean a bunch of updates to BL packages, or is this just accommodating a bunch of Debian package updates that would have already been updates in BL?

They're all Debian packages that will be upgraded. There are only a few dozen BL packages, they get updated as we see fit and as users submit GitHub issues.

Sorry, my question wasn't clear. I was referring to the BL distro, not BL-specific packages. So when I do upgrades, are they incorporating the Debian package updates contained in version 8.5?

Yes, they will do when 8.5 is released on the 4th of June.
You will know when it happens because you will see a big list of packages during the upgrade
