Re: June 2016 Screenshots

HowTo prelink a full screen scrot from a thumbnail using scrot.moe

Take a scrot and upload it to scrot.moe

Scroll down below the image if necessarry, the link is highlighted on "About". Click "Embed codes" instead

PgDn to the bottom, highlight the link for Thumbnail Image (linked) "BBC Code" and copy it

Paste that into the screenshot thread

Go back to scrot.moe, click on the right side of the page to escape the link and scroll back up. Highlight the first link, Direct links "Image URL" and copy it

Go to the link in the form field you posted, and replace the short URL in the first address with the new long one you just copied, and preview and post.

How does one view the full sized images at scrot.moe?

Download link (icon) unless it's pre-linked like I do with mine.

OH OK ... yea, that helps. I've been going nutz with that.

If you simply want the full size image go via 'Embed codes';

Thank's for your reply.  My quest was to see the image full sized when others post using scrot.moe.
It seems lately that the max size doesn't reach it potential - for me anyway as seen here after using the download button for comparison:

Moved to the gorgeous (non-free) Luxi fonts, need to sort that font hinting in the GTK3 applications...

Re: June 2016 Screenshots

Latest nightly builds of Epiphany & GNOME-Weather running in xdg-app containers sandboxes:

EDIT: Ha! Can't find the scrots from the contained sandboxed browser, had to boot FF to post this...

EDIT: **** it's going to rain again on Monday...
mad

EDIT2: Apparently, the developers prefer the term "sandbox" as they consider containers to be a different technology.

EDIT3: Here's one for @damo:

Latest nightly git build of GIMP with no compiling smile

Note to self: set floating exception for the new GIMP hmm

Do you prefer floating over single window mode?

I couldn't imagine using the GIMP in single window mode hmm

I use a tiling window manager usually and GIMP really doesn't work too well tiled -- if you look at my screenshot you can see how the toolboxes are all stretched out sad

Fortunately, this behaviour can be over-ridden on a per-application basis in bspwm & xmonad to get back the expected layout:

Re: June 2016 Screenshots

^ It depends on screen size for me. For the laptop, or a single monitor I find single window mode better. For dual monitors I often have floating panels for brushes etc on the second monitor.

That's why I asked in the first place - single window behaves in tiled environment and you can arrange toolboxes where you want them.

Not for my bspwm desktop -- the newly spawned toolboxes obey the window manager layout sad

Is that not the case with i3?

Accuweather on my phone says 81 and sunny, so the script is right. I want to use the gnome-weather extension instead of openweather, but it's not installing on my minimal setup and I haven't tried to mess with it yet.

Ah, openweather just caught up.

Re: June 2016 Screenshots

Just trying out scrot.moe. No chance with firefox, never reach 100% uploading my scrot sad with chromium it works perfect.
Anyway, this is BodhiLinux with the Moksha Desktop (a fork of e17) and the glorious terminology.
I love it {)

Bunsen-antimon themes;

Background from the excellent collections by Charlie-Henson on deviantart. (This one was heavily adjusted to match my desktop layout)
