Giving bspwm a try, can't seem to get the bar the way I would like it.

I've got dwarf fortress in a tmux session on my home spare laptop/server, and getting my podcasts updated with a tiny python script I made called ppod and playing them with ncmpcpp.

Which panel are you using? Open a thread in this Artwork & Screenshots forum titled "Bitch Panel theme help" (for example monkey ) if you feel like it.

Re: June 2016 Screenshots

Hahaha, perfect post title. I'm using lemonbar, but have taken the config from swineherd else and I'll trying to clean it up and understand all the pieces. My biggest concern with it is all the piping, I'm worried that too many asynchronous calls to $(date) and the like will stop my CPU from getting to lower pstates, so it'll use more power than other "heavier* panels...

Everything that uses OpenGL (EGL) was completely broken on x86 Android when I saw to it last time, that included all regular browsers and then some applications due to the lack of graphics drivers. I.e. it was completely useless. Reading at least about software rendering support in the MM  build, this is getting so much more interesting!

Hm, play services are crashing whatever I do. So it's not quite there yet.

There's still a major bug present when using this on a PC... the setup doesn't include an option to disable autorotation and set the layout to landscape. The desktop loads normally, but you open anything and the screen might flip on it's side. Mouse control also flips 90 degs (up is right, etc...), which makes things very interesting indeed! monkey

-edit-The workaround is to disable autorotation from the panel pull-down menu before doing anything else, though some apps might override that setting. And the pull down is buggy using a mouse/touchpad. Still, next week I'm installing it, I'll post in DistroHoppers when it's done.

Aww, hell. Google Play understood my voice search, which means my mic is configured ootb. Which probably means my vidcam is as well, which raises some security implications.

Lol to a few custom themes, hahahah!!!

I don't care about Google spying on me, I've succumed to assimilation years ago. And it's worth it for me to be able to boot up a Live USB and IMMEDIATELY start talking to my computer.
