Hi all,
I recently fired up BL on my Acer C720 and got everything working like a dream (after following a couple of Debian-based guides). One thing I was wondering was whether one could have the LightDM lock-screen return from resume with the username already filled in? It could save valuable seconds out of my day...
Cheers!

If you're the only user of the system, this could work. If you edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
as root, and change 'gtk-greeter hide user' line to 'false'. Save it. Reboot. And you should have your login name auto filled. Of course if you're not the only user you'll still have to select it. but it'll save you some typin'.

Excellent! Slightly interesting is that it displays my name not my user ID.

Even better if you add the line
default-user=user_name
where user_name is your login name.
