Does anyone have any idea of the development process and when a final release will be available?

^ When we has no moar bugz. (Apologies in advance for the LOLcats.) RC2 had a regression in the bl-welcome script, but other than that (and it was a bit of a doozy) we are just about there.

Get used to, (and appreciate) the slow and methodical updates. Why the rush? Just to say it's not an RC? Debian (which we get like 95% of our packages from) are very thorough in their distribution.

^ And we're grateful for your patience. To be honest, though, one of the bigger reasons we're a bit late out of the gate is because our developers were as thrown by Philip's announcement as everybody else, most (if not all) of them are very new to distro development, and they're all as committed to a bug-free release as the Debian developers.

RC2 is release quality, bl-* packages are consistently updated and Debian jessie is pretty damn solid. Final release will be done when it's done.
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Yep don't get too caught up in the nomenclature... Bunsenlabs Hydrogen is 99% Debian Stable.
