Install BL on Jessie XFCE

Hi there!

I just added the BL repositories and installed all the relevant packages. But after booting and loggin in, the XFCE-desktop still appears.

Have I done something wrong??

Thanks! mr_fresh

Re: Install BL on Jessie XFCE

Well, you could search the forum first.....

(Solved) Using BL netinstall script in XFCE Debian jessie system

You will need to set your x-session-manager to use Openbox (Menu -> System -> Edit Debian Alternatives), and do a few other tweaks.

You can also choose which session manager to run when logging in (icon at top right of login screen). You can also change the session manager with

sudo update-alternatives --config x-session-manager

Re: Install BL on Jessie XFCE

hi damo,

thanx for the link. i haven't found that before ...

it turned out, that there wasn't any problem at all, except "tint2" has not been installed. so i had to install it and everything works fine as far is i can see.

-> rc2 can be installed on an existing jessie with xfce4

cheers, mr_fresh

Thanks for the feedback!

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?
