I'm creating a BunsenLabs History calendar file so I'm looking for help finding dates:
Still early in the BunsenLabs "History" so should be easier to search and find things
Hopefully by the time Bunsen is in it's final release we'll have a nice little file to include with the ISO.
EDIT: What's better - with or without links?
While the links don't show they are still in the calendar file as comments.
Normally people won't be running a year at a time ( -A 365 )

Your sort order is a bit off there. The Entry for the release of RC2 should logically be at the end of the list. Otherwise, it's looking good!.

Well, that's the way "calendar" works .. day/month - years are coincidental in the calendars. You'll see things like:
Oct 26 Debian GNU/Linux 0.93R6 released, 1995
Dec 11 Infomagic and Debian announce the botching of Debian 1.0, 1995
Jun 17 Debian GNU/Linux 1.1 alias ``buzz'' released, 1996
Dec 12 Debian GNU/Linux 1.2 alias ``rex'' released, 1996
Jun 5 Debian GNU/Linux 1.3 alias ``bo'' released, 1997
Jul 24 Debian GNU/Linux 2.0 alias ``hamm'' released, 1998
Mar 9 Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 alias ``slink'' released, 1999
Aug 15 Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 alias ``potato'' relased, 2000
Jul 19 Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 alias ``woody'' released, 2002
Jun 6 Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 alias ``sarge'' released, 2005
Apr 8 Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 alias ``etch'' released, 2007
Feb 14 Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 alias ``lenny'' released, 2009
Feb 6 Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 alias ``squeeze'' released, 2011
May 5 Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 alias ``wheezy'' released, 2013
Notice where the year is ... I put it at the front - to be different.
But when you display it, it will sort from 1 Jan to 31 Dec - IF you show a years worth ( -A 365 )

Oh, please Sector11, I didn't mean it that way, I don't feel it is worth it ... Moreover: I suggest you remove me and only leave name of the first person mentioning name "BunsenLabs', ie. chillicampari. It feels much more important point in the history of the BunsenLabs.

Relax - I was joking - I'm not going to remove your name, damo was the one that said:

And besides, I really liked:

Or

Or even

... not as easy to do on the keyboard as #! but you were thinking.
Not so much a case of "much more important" it's a case of historical reference. You were pretty active in there.
I hope you aren't taking any offence here. I certainly didn't mean any at all ... just my weird sense of humour I guess.
I'm rooting around and looking for all sorts of little tidbits in the first year of BunsenLabs
As time passes I see things slowing down. But this is a community effort and members of the community should be reflected in the calendar. Especially in our first year, and it's been a busy one. Just my opinion.
Looking for things like the name, the logo, the periodic table for release names, the decision to use Debian version numbers vs a BL release number et al. And that et al, can even include what some may think - not so important things, but that still had an impact.

hehehehe - I thought about that: 16 Feb since it was announced and RC2 released on that day.
16 Feb 2015 - unia announces the continuation of CrunchBang: BunsenLabs
http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=39049
16 Feb 2016 - BunsenLabs RC2, (Hydrogen) released
/*16 Feb - BunsenLabs Day */
24 Feb 2015 - The bunsen-configs repo created on GitHub by johnraff
http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=39135
If I get enough people saying "aye" I'll uncomment it.
I could also make it the "third Monday of Feb" since it was the 3rd Monday of Feb in 2015 that Unia made the announcement about that name - Or maybe the day chilli mentioned "Bunsen Labs"
Also:
so hey, bunsenlabs is 1!
1! Looks good. We should adopt that 'officially'
Should we have a BunsenLabs day and if 'yes', what day?

tknomanzr actually made a good observation there. Because of the way calendar works, maybe it's better to put the "year" at the end of the lines:
21 Feb 16 @ 09:40:12 ~
