^ The real question... Did you find a power outlet in time?
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Ha! Well, sure:) I've been messing with 'Sexy Bash Prompt' which is a pretty handy bash wrapper for the simple git commands I have, and is totally customizable. Got a penguin too, cause why not...
https://github.com/twolfson/sexy-bash-prompt No commits there in five years or so, but I've not had any issues so far.
Added title capability back in because it doesn't have it in the original. It's just loads of fun to adjust.

From yesterday, I didn't get around to posting it... Brand new Plasma 6.5 via the Neon live ISO using a custom wallpaper...
OOTB the box, the most notable things are beautiful dropshadows with default subtly-rounded corners on all four corners. Very pretty. And 2G RAM just to idle the dekstop in LIVE mode, very resource-intensive (compared to every other DE/stand-alone WM setup), but Neon is an Ubuntu build. 6.5 installed on Arch in the near future would most likely run a half G lighter, which would make it slightly heavier than gnome-shell. A decent price to pay for a beautiful, unified, easily configurable DE.
xfec4-panel's calendar widget is just as useful, but not nearly as pretty IMO.

^ Excellent, but note that rounded corners here are more like GNOME's with a radius of 12, not like 6.5's tidy 3px radius.

^ Hey, don't push your crazy religion here, Mr. Dobbs. Push colored folders instead...

Thanks. I think you are right about radial jitter at the corners, but I didn't bother to check if it's configurable or hackable. I rarely see desktop in my common worflow, that's why I snap desktop #2 always. I prefer all applications maximized, except terminal.

Always nice when you barely have to change anything.

It's incredibly easy to configure. The options are even available in the menu
If you prefer a vertical panel the bad news is that you can only position the Taskbar at the top or bottom of the screen. The good news, however, is it is possible to disable the Taskbar and use a different panel that can be placed horizontally or vertically.
All Taskbar apps(?) can be disabled, but they can't be moved (except for the workspace app which can be either on the left or the right). There's also a double height taskbar option.
