^ Nice, thanks brother.
Carbon rocks.
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Thanks. Trying to find a way to replace the menu icon with the bunsenlabs flame

That shouldn't be too hard. In your preferences file, something like...
# Path to the icon for the start menu button
MenuButtonImage="path/to/your/custom_icon.png"No joy? (I overwrote my icewm setup with a carbon re-install, I can't test atm.)

I hate using gtk-3.0 css or whatever for xfce4-panel corner-rounding, though I do aprecciate the note in the picom config. Let's ditch that gtk.css edit, please, or leave it in the file but commented out.
Totally agree, and this commit does just that. (The next upgrade of bunsen-configs will fetch it.)

If there is no setting to globally change the icon, you can replace the icewm.xpm bitmap icon with the BL flame logo. The icon needs to be named icewm but can be any image format supported by icewm (icewm.png, icewm.jpg etc ...). The startmenu icon is in the path_to_themes/theme_name/ takbar folder. You can create the folder if the theme doesn't have one. I created the folder for the motif theme:

My alternative picom shadows are now gone in the default config, they were just commented out in boron.
Probably my doing. ![]()
I guess I thought those commented lines were leftover from some ancient release...
If you'd like them to be an alternative (no objection at all of course) then maybe we could put them back, marked with double comments ## and a note?

Remember Addy?
He's got a nice collection of openbox themes here, with some very pretty screenshots!

Sure do. He used to maintain a nice blog for openbox and .Xresources theming.

Yeah, throw my centered shadows back in as an alternative, please.

The secret...
Custom Menu button... Find your theme. Mine is ~/.config/icewm/themes/Infadel2
Open the taskbar folder in that theme.
Copy BunsenLabs.xpm from the ice-menu-buttons-main/icons folder you downloaded and paste it into the taskbar folder, then rename it to 'start.xpm' (backup the original file to start.xpm.orig). Logout/login, I think that's it.
