On the terminal window? Check the theme config file. That looks like pixmap. If it is, you can change the pixmap, or comment out the line..

I looked at the theme folder.  Those grey areas are part of the pixmaps

This is very bad news because our default image uploader uses imgur, as does xfce4-screenshooter, although there's been some discussion about privacy issues. Privacy vs convenience.

But anyway, @MarkW do you know what's behind the Imgur block of the UK?

So GNOME 49 has removed all X11 support and also relies on more of the systemd APIs, which has caused Artix to drop the desktop completely:

Chimera are still running v48 of gnome-session though because v49 has a hard dependency on systemd's userdb interface, as can be seen from this screenshot when I try to log out:

The devs are working towards using turnstile & seatd to replace elogind entirely but now they need to add or stub out the userdb functionality...
