Looks nice. Have you tried the Wayland version? Should be very good as well.

@PackRat : thanks for sharing.
Running it now - with some slight editing to window title+label
Nice.
Link to wallpaper, please. I'm pretty sure that is lake Tahoe.
Niri wayland compositor ( https://github.com/YaLTeR/niri )
Interesting once you get used to how it handles workspaces.

@PackRat: yep, that's Lake Tahoe allright.
here's the link to a full-sized (large but pretty low-quality) jpg image : https://i.4cdn.org/wg/1739082131683869.jpg
I've cleaned it up a bit (in gimp haha...) and resized it to 1920x1080 : https://imgbox.com/bJcxNNhn

Chimera Linux running GNOME 48 with the new Adwaita Sans font and "Wellbeing" settings panel:
Can't say I've noticed the alleged GPU, CPU & RAM usage improvements but I only really play games on this machine.
EDIT: trying to show the new "greyscale" screentime limitation feature that removes all colour from the desktop once the limit has been reached but there seems to be a bug in the screenshot tool, only the bar is captured:

^ If you have ImageMagick installed, try:
sleep 4s; import -window root screenshot.png
If sleep 4s is not enough to prepare a screenshot, just enlarge it.
If people would know how little brain is ruling the world, they would die of fear.

^ Thanks marens but this is under Wayland and there is no spoon:
~$ import -window root screenshot.png
import: `screenshot.png' @ error/import.c/ImportImageCommand/1289.
1~$
Anyway I've opened an issue upstream, which might get things fixed: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-sc … issues/259

siduction+labwc+Mubin's waybar+fuzzel+moc
The battery is fucked on this laptop. That's why I tried to integrate Chubin's weather for it.
What still doesn't work is the workspaces on the left.
I just don't understand it. I'm missing the basic step.
@PackRat, do you have a step by step?

Waybar workspace module doesn't work well well with labwc. Mubin's waybar was set up for sway. It's been that way for a while. There are some hacks and actual patches to get that module working for labwc.
I just use labwc + xfce-wayland. Everything works but the xfce wallpaper setter. Still need swaybg or the BL wallpaper switcher.

Waybar workspace module doesn't work well well with labwc.
Patches were offered by @Consolatis (labwc team member) for waybar but never got merged for whatever reason. SFWbar did merge them so that works better (see my scrot a few posts back).

Yes works well for workspaces but as for a wallpaper setter xwwall
works well. See https://github.com/01micko/xwwall and
this thread from this point.
#!/bin/sh
echo '#include <stdio.h>\nvoid main() { printf("Hi, bunsenlabs\\n"); return; }' > bunsen.c
gcc bunsen.c -o bunsen

I didn't pay attention to that. I thought it should work with labwc.
Well, I still have the scroll wheel on the mouse, or, the keyboard shortcut for switching workspaces.
xfce4-wayland is present in siduction-shine, but it has been blocked for not working.
Thank you very much!

Thank you for your explanation.
Unfortunately, the waybar has grown on me more than the sfwbar.
