GNOME 47

-edit- I installed Blur my Shell extension and I'm guessing that's what's giving me inactive-window transparency now?
It looks pretty good.
There is always time for details.
I usually set Monday as the first day of the week and don't use symbolic weather icons, but ...
Tastes are different.
Does this script (show_applications) work in Gnome 47?
~/.scripts/show_applications:
#!/bin/bash
status=`gdbus call --session --dest org.gnome.Shell --object-path /org/gnome/Shell --method org.gnome.Shell.Eval 'Main.overview.visible'`
if [ "$status" == "(true, 'false')" ]; then
dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.Shell /org/gnome/Shell org.gnome.Shell.Eval string:'Main.shellDBusService.ShowApplications()'
else
dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.Shell /org/gnome/Shell org.gnome.Shell.Eval string:'Main.overview.hide()'
fi
Note *
Don't forget to make the script executable.
Keyboard shortcut (command):
sh -c '~/.scripts/show_applications'

^ Not working for me, sorry.
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

^ Thanks for trying.
I always use LTS systems and I think I will go back to Linux Mint (Cinnamon or Mate) at the end of the year.
The developers there always take the best of Ubuntu and remove what they don't like.
It's been nice with GNOME for the past five years.

Void Linux with enlightenment window manager running in live mode. Very light on system resource usage and lacks the clutter of many packages compared to a debian distro.

I use Arch BTW! If it is not rolling, it is stagnant!
RebornOS, EndeavourOS, Archbang, Artix,
Linuxhub Prime, Manjaro, Void, PCLinuxOS

I should have mentioned, I'm running a Wayland-only system. That might be why the script failed.
-edit-
Audacious. I don't think any other audio player does gapless-playback for almost every format out of the box like audacious does.

neofetch calculates incorrectly (and is no longer being developed)

Regardless if it is, does, or not; take a look at the task manager window. It shows low usuage as well. A matter of fact even lower than neofetch.

Thanks for the additional info, @hhh.
That could be the reason, but I can't confirm because I don't use Wayland.
A script combined with a menu button (keyboard shortcut) shows/hides the Show Applications screen.
Using the existing shortcuts Super + A (show) and then Super (hide) gives the same result.
It is more logical (and easier) for me to use only one shortcut.

Last one for September. Tons of changes under the hood. Replaced the "autostart" patch with the "cool-autostart" patch.
Changed how I launch apps as well by removing the SHCMD commands and using *cmd instead.
Also, this has to be probably the best Pink Floyd cover ever done.

Uninstall instructions?
-edit- nm, it's all local. Got it.
I hate Go. Don't create a root privilege folder inside of my Home folder, you jerks!
The math is solid, though. Six bars divided by two is two times three bars.
