Anything worth noting?
I don't think so — the warnings come from /usr/share/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib
and they're placed in the functions the warnings mention, which is really strange. See line 313 for an example.
The command exits with zero status so it's just a warning rather than an error.

@micko01 I'm sorry if my rhetorical question here muddied the water:
BTW Why clone repos into the BL collection at all? If upstream have already built and have orig & debian tarballs, why not just add them with reprepro?
It wasn't a serious suggestion, just meant as an example of something someone might say.

No apology necessary *it happens.
But since this is the carbon bugs thread we should probably continue discussions about the icon themes at least in the carbon Themes (beta version) thread https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic … 84#p143084 <-- latest post

I'm experiencing very high/constant laptop fan usage with the recent kernel upgrade to linux-image-6.12.27-amd64. Anybody else?
There's no bug report for it...
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgrepo … t=unstable
I'm staying with the *.25 kernel for now, no problems with it on my machine.
-edit- I should have added that I'm running a Lenovo Ideapad with an Intel CPU and integrated Intel GPU.
I should also add that I have 2 trixie partitions, Carbon and a minimal GNOME, Wayland only one and I get the same ridiculous fan speeds on both of them. I was hoping to get some confirmation here before I go ahead and file a bug report with Debian.

^ OK, I was hoping to get an Intel confirmation before submitting a bug report to Debian. I'll wait for the next kernel upgrade and take it from there.
It's also possible that some other package upgrade fixed the problem, I'm getting 10 to 40 package upgrades daily during this soft freeze.
Thanks for testing!

I searched this thread and did not see anything related. I installed Bunsen Boron on a Dell CB1C13 Chromebook and dist-upgraded to Carbon. I can suspend using bl-exit but automatic suspend does not work:
Any thoughts, ideas?

^Too little RAM memory? Looks tight.
I have the OS here after startup with 2 conky, FF-esr, terminal, both network modules wifi and ethernet are active.
Radiotray-ng and Bluetooth manager are dormant in autostart and I wonder who is going crazy with RAM usage here, conky or fastfetch.
Probably fastfetch.

That error message is pretty clear, even with a blurred image
You need a polkit authentication agent so install either lxpolkit or mate-polkit. I think one of them starts itself but one needs an autostart entry. Can't remember which is which though...

Mate polkit entry in /etc/xdg/autostart has an entry for "OnlyShowIn" (mate), and the gnome polkit has one too (XFCE;Unity;X-Cinnamon;), so in my Openbox installs XDG won't start them at login, I have to use ~/.config/openbox/autostart to do that.
I guess I could edit the .desktop too, don't know if that would be any better though.
That pic above looks bad, something already ate into the ram enough to start using swap.

^ You can copy the root autostart to ~/.config/autostart and edit it there (and it will persist through the package updates), but adding it to the BL autostart does the same thing. Glad you got it sorted!

I don't see that entry on my Trixie system with mate-polkit 1.26.1-4+b1

mate-polkit appears to autostart but requires that I type the password. I assume there is an additional configuration step that I'm missing.

My apologies, that's in my bookworm installs, I should have broken out one of the trixie test iso's before posting. Sorry about that, when I posted that I was neck deep for the last couple days in trying to grind out some new code and was taking a break so I didn't get burned out, so I did a stupid thing which is to post before really thinking about it. I should really stay out of this thread. mea culpa.

Sorry, I should have thought about this a bit more before replying because of course suspend should not require a password. How silly of me.
Suspend permissions should be assigned by the login session so please share the output of
loginctl session-status
Thanks!

That all looks fine.
Are there any other users logged in? I think suspend can only be performed without a password if a single user is logged in.

No, there aren't even any other users configured. Could it be a keyring problem?
