@hhh, got the .deb package for ob but have zero understanding as how to install the other two. My ignorance not your problem. I'll try to read on...

Go to the the theme repo and click the link for the deb file, then click the "View raw" link to download. Do the same with the icon repo. Click the debs and GDebi will open if you're using BL. They should install on boron but post back if not.
Got to the extra repo, click the green button "Code" then click "Download ZIP" at the bottom of the popup window. Extract the zip and move the files to the appropriate folders (~/.config tint2 and conky, the walls in Pictures/wallpapers). Set everything in Main Menu>User Settings>Appearance, Notifications, Openbox>obconf, tint2>tint2 manager, conky>conky manager. Don't forget to click apply for all the GUIs. Logout to make sure thunar restarts with the new icon theme. You want to set icon/themes to either bunsen-yaru-bark or bunsen-yaru-sage.
For jgmenu, in Menu>User>Settings>jgmenu>Edit Menu settings. Add a hashtag to "comment out" line 22
#icon_theme = Material-Solarized-Suru++
The menu will automatically update.

Yea @hhh your instructions are perfect. Other than the .deb which installs just fine, still having a no go on the other two files. Again, not on you bud but my ignorance. I'll keep trying until I get it. I thank you for ya help.

Which deb? There are 2, bunsen-themes-yaru*all.deb and bunsen-yaru-icons*all.deb. Which two other files? There are 4, 2 wallpapers, a tint.rc and a conky.conf.
Open thunar, Ctrl+h keyboard shortcut to view hidden files and folders, then move the conky.conf to .config/conky and the tint2rc to .config/tint2

See, I get your frustrated with me. I've had a hell of a day and I'm obviously missing... Something here. Gimme a day or two and I'll go over what I'm sure are easy instructions for most. Really do love your screenshot though

Not frustrated, just wondering what else I can do to help! Post back when needed, I don't mind.

Trying out all the yaru-bark-dark things on a VM and it looks very nice. I'll use this for a bit and switch to yaru-sage-dark later.
(Agreed about the tint2 transparency.)
The Yaru folder icons look very smooth in Thunar, but I'm less thrilled with the Gnomey-looking app icons that appear in tint2. Is that what you meant here? https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic … 59#p136759
The other issue I hit right away is that not all apps have nicely rounded corners. Lxterminal and jgmenu are fine but mousepad and synaptic have little black triangles on the corners. You got the same thing here: https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic … 30#p136830
And yes, uncommenting backend=glx; fixes it. So we have to decide whether it's OK to enable glx out of the box in Carbon.
However... on my VM picom with glx seems to be triggering all kinds of weirdness, so this will need looking at.
See the somewhat mixed icon styles here, not so harmonious IMO:

Let's put the picom issue on hold for now. sid is getting 10-40 package upgrades daily right now. I suggest waiting until the first freeze before making any decisions on configs. Setting 'backend = xrender' in picom.conf works for me now, but commenting the line out entirely disables composting, which shouldn't happen. I'll have to create a new default conf and test some more, maybe my current conf has a typo somewhere.
Check if gnome-icon-theme is present on you VM install, that will replace the green flask in bl-exit with an icon that fits better. gnome-icon-theme is present in our boron ISO but was missing for me after dist-upgrading installing trixie, changing to sid and then installing bunsen-meta-all.
The systray icons are going to be a PITA. I like the nostalgia of gnome icons, but don't want them on our shiny new release. Ugh. Any idea what the image names are for the clipboard, network and volume?
-edit- Progress, nm-applet icons are nm-signal-* and are currently inherited from hicolor/22x22/apps It works if I add those icon names to bunsen-Yaru (I have to create the status folder). Right now I'm using the Numix icons, but I'll at some other icon themes as well. Do you have any ideas?
I think the clipboard icon is edit-paste, I'll check that later. Volume should be audio-volume-*. That leaves the stupid battery issue.

Sounds sensible. Do you still have the picom 11.2 that you built from source though? Could you maybe upload it to @micko01's repo so I can try it? I've been getting various flakiness with picom on Trixie but I'd like to see my trial machines with round corners...

gnome-icon-theme is in Boron because some package's dependency pulls it in. In general, icon themes are bulky and I'm not for installing ones we didn't specifically want. On top of that, it's not particularly cool looking. Another way round the missing "suspend" icon in bl-exit would be to change the icon name to something our icon themes provide.
Anyway, I installed it (15MB) and got a gnomey-looking suspend icon which didn't match the others in that dialogue so well.
Notice also in tint2's tasktray the circular app icon for the bl-exit yad dialogue, but another uncool gnomey-looking icon for lxterminal.

Quite.

Working on that never-ending xfce4-power-manager icon, I found strace somewhat helpful in tracking down what icons apps were actually loading.

Numix sounds OK. It seems close to Yaru in feeling. Possibly consider square instead of circle (is that available?)
The systray icons we used in Boron (maybe Beryllium too) were all something-symbolic. That minimal style fits our desktop I think.
That leaves the stupid battery issue.
OMG so fed up with that. If xfce4-power-manager still doesn't support system tray icons properly, my guess is it never will. TBH I'd rather not be committed to patching that package into eternity...

Progress, wireless and volume are working, no luck with the clipboard yet. This is with tint2 icons set to 22.

Looks good, pretty much like Boron, and nothing wrong with that at all.

I can try to package picom tomorrow.
I can insert the suspend icon from the now-defunct Humanity icons (or another icon) into bunsen-Yaru for bl-exit (symlinked by gnome-session-suspend.svg). That shows a clock icon. In Yaru's index file it inherits Humanity, that's where I got the idea.
I'm using the default Numix icons in that scrot. There aren't any status icons in Numix-circle that I can find.
What do you want to do about xfce4-power-manager?

Scrot of bl-exit using bunsen-Yaru with Humanity installed locally...
Better, yes? I don't know why the systray icons are also being inherited from Humanity now. That shouldn't happen if I place the gnome-session-suspend/clock icon directly in bunsen-Yaru, unless someone has Humanity installed.

@johnraff, for now I've uploaded the picom v11.2 binary to bunsen-extras. Throw it in your ~/home/bin folder and it should override picom in /usr/bin.

Nice! If it doesn't work out, no problem.

For now, maybe we could list up problem icons, and further down the road figure out exactly what to do about them? Our default icon theme might change in the next year!
There aren't any status icons in Numix-circle that I can find.
Numix-circle isn't a complete icon theme, it inherits from Numix.
What do you want to do about xfce4-power-manager?
First, on real hardware, see how the Trixy package behaves. If the issue is still there, and no upgrades seem to be in the pipeline, I'll try the same patch I used in Bookworm...

^Thanks again!
Version number: can I suggest picom_11.2-0.1? (If debian revision under 1 works.)
Because when Debian package it, their first version could well be 11.2-1 so your 11.2-1.1 would be higher.
Alternatively, use a tilde to indicate a lower version: 11.2-1~hhh1 or so.

Tried the binary picom 11.2 and it fixes the round corners.
But 'backend=glx' brings other nasty wierdness, and comment-out the 'backend' line breaks compositing, just like for you:
Setting 'backend = xrender' in picom.conf works for me now, but commenting the line out entirely disables composting, which shouldn't happen.
Sorry, but 'backend = xrender' is weird for me too, in different ways.
This is picom 11.2 with the backend line commented-out:
