PackRat wrote:hhh wrote:^ When did JWM first get released?
Quite a while ago
JWM
A window manager for X11 written in C. This is perhaps the oldest project I still maintain (started in 2003).I was curious about Openbox because of this, according to Wikipedia it was first released in 2002!
Fluxbox (2001), Hackedbox (2002 - didn't last long, lost out to Openbox), Openbox, and Jwm were an early 2000's window manager group. Jwm is the only one not derived from the original Blackbox (mid 90's).

@Dobbie03, agreed. Didn't you say somewhere you were going on holiday? If so how did it go?

I did say I was going on holiday, unfortunately that was a month ago. It was amazing. Two weeks in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

Glad you had a great time. Sorry man, guilty of paying more attention to my own life than your's but thought I'd ask.

Yet again, you have misinterpreted a reply here as a dig.
Just to clear things up:
"I did say I was going on holiday" was me acknowledging the fact you remembered I had gone away.
"unfortunately" was in regards to the fact I am back in NZ and not on holiday still. Nose to the grind.
"a month ago" is me lamenting the above fact, I am back at work.
Maybe an emoji or a smiley face may have made it obvious that I wasn't being rude (I can see how it could be taken that way, my apologies there. I reply here as I would in a normal speaking conversation).
I wasn't having a go, you'd know if I were.

Thanks mate, I can share the wall, but probably no point sharing the panel unless you decide to use dwm.

Shitty weather today, but a bit cooler.
That's why I played with bluetooth. Blueman Manager and Pipewire, an unbeatable team.

Ok we're really crossed up @Döbbie03. I made a poor attempt at humor and (thought) I had over dramatized enough to make that clear. No, I understood exactly what you meant. Thought you'd say something to the effect you did but never thought it would cause you to feel the need to explain your comment to such an extent. For that, I'm sorry man.
