@johnraff
1) do those scripts appear in a file's right-click menu?
YES.
2) And is there a filter by file type?
NO.
Note *
A right click on a file or folder is required for the scripts to appear.
That's why I said:
I have used both and can agree with you.
And:
Under 600 M RAM according to htop.
After booting I have less than 800M RAM - Ubuntu (GNOME) snapd has been removed.
That is acceptable to me.
P.S.
Unfortunately I remember the time with Lubuntu (LXDE) - under 200M RAM.
If people would know how little brain is ruling the world, they would die of fear.

Note the total RAM on that system was 946M. Presumably everything worked OK on that in those days?

If it was the Acer Aspire One netbook it worked great. I remember a Tron reboot scrot (Olivia Wilde in black leather on a chaise lounge) using compiz that I was really proud of. Weird scrot I posted, I think I'm running VB for a recursive desktop thing? And look at that tiny disk space.

I installed BunsenLab and the distro worked very well with some small changes. The idea is recover and old pc that right now is working with Windows 7.
I removed conky and added it some executors to tint2. This is the final result.
