It's easy if you use imgbb.com. When the upload completes it should default to a BBCode Thumbnail linked output under "Embed codes". If you hover in the code box a "Copy" button appears.

I see what y'all are talking about with imgur.com, you have to format a thumbnail link yourself unless you're using xfce4-screenshooter.

Using imgbb also gives an issue with posting pics. You can copy and paste the bbcode thumbnail link to your post and the forum will not show the pic. Dont have a clue whats up but my guess is that it is the forum that is wonky.

Imgur still works fine for me, via the built-in right-click Thunar menu item "Upload Image".

Agreed, there are some issues with direct downloads, like I could download a copy of that image via firefox but not with wget, which used to work.

But for a quick post to the forum it still seems to be OK, and no need to register.

Huh, clicking the thumbnail works for me. Right-clicking the image>'Open Image in New Tab' afterwards gives me this...

That is the issue. I can post screenshots on any other forum straight from my laptop or through imgbb but this is the only forum that it does not work. I give up it is of no great loss anyway.

This scrot was posted from imgbb. I'm not sure what is happening on your end. What embed code are you using?
I always use 'BBCode thumbnail linked'. Is that what you are using?

Edit, I see hhh already went over this.

Have you tried from a different browser?
