I love Rachael @hhh, I noticed your "upgrade" but had far too many beers to be able to comment coherently.

Re: January 2024 Screenshots

Two days ago I received an "old" computer with (U)efi and W10 for my wife.

I killed all that this morning and installed 'Beardog' as the main system and then 'Boron' in dualboot (without os-prober).

There were no problems. Bunsen-welcome, superb.  big_smile

Re: January 2024 Screenshots

@Distrowatch left "lead by hhh" out of their release announcement. OK, I used oomox and @johnraff did a lot, but it's still my colorscheme and wallpaper edit. That Jessie is still holding a grudge from my Helium response from... 6 years ago? big_smile

At first I couldn't believe it, but there it was, gone. I had been assuming that DW were automatically scraping the content of their news items from the various distros' RSS feeds or wherever, but a human had to have been involved to delete just that "led by @hhh". roll

Re: January 2024 Screenshots

Yeah, pretty good, nowhere near as painful as I have seen it made out to be on the interwebs.  I'm pretty settled.

I'll have to dig a little deeper into the Dobbie bin of sayings and use some older classics I don't often rip out for future postings.

Re: January 2024 Screenshots

@Sector11, got an email today from Jessie at DistroWatch saying the same, 404, so I emailed him the scrot and it's on their site now. Yeah!

I can't blame Jessie for editing out "led by hhh". Who the f is hhh?

It's the sound a cat makes when it's upset.

https://youtu.be/37697sWp2rQ?si=atZDPpb3Ppn06DNf

It's more of a hckhhh, but I had enough trouble with rachel/rachael, I'm not opening that can of aliens.

Come on now rachel/rachael was cool and {looking around wife not here} - sexy.  smile
