How do you have that border on the active window ?

Can i do that by editing bl-rc ?

No. The Openbox (window manager) theme...

/usr/share/themes or ~/.local/share/themes or ~/.themes

Give me a few minutes to upload it somewhere...

Ok thank you !

I will modify my yeti theme then.

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

^yeti-lith was an optional theme with the Lithium release. As you've found, it's still available from BLOB, and will still be there in the next release. smile

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

^Yes that does look quite nice.
But we're not going to ship Gnome with the next BL I guess?

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

Seriously thinking of rounded corners? I quite liked what picom did, even though the shadows didn't match.

Curious why the terminal in your shot has square bottom corners.

Gnome Terminal is still GTK3.

Fine, why am I using Thunar? Because I like it. Nautilus comes close, but you have to monkey with it, BL Thunar is set up right OOTB.

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

OK the terminal window now has rounded corners all round...

But Thunar is square at the bottom. Is this rounding only for the titlebar the way this theme does things? If so, that's their right of course.

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

^ Gaa! That's why you might use Nautilus, all rounded corners. Dim the lights and que the soft jazz...

7SuGe1Bt.png

Chicka chicka bow wow! That one needs the 'Focus' extension to add transparency to the inactive window(s).

Anyway, like I said, just having fun, this is all GNOME on Wayland. Rounded corners for OB and jgmenu via Picom on X is definitely on the table, though.

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

Crazy idea, how about we try and do a GNOME Boron release as well as OpenBox? I'd be all into it.

If that was a serious suggestion, here's a serious response: it would need a thorough discussion, so could we leave it till after the Boron release? Debian Bookworm will likely be out in late April or early May, and - after the huge delay with Beryllium - we really should try our best not to be too long after that with Boron.

Re: March 2023 Screenshots

I have no say in this, but I think Gnome is on the opposite side of the spectrum from Bunsenlabs...
