I presume it means "jpeg lines", ie colour banding. They are quite obvious along the sides of the river.

Never noticed those lines ... until now.  OK, I'll just write those off as current ripples in the water.  smile

Nothing fancy. The caduceus design is by Ricky Gunawan. He executed it based on my design for the cover of my first novel. The wallpaper is for 4K widescreen, but I could make a 4:3 version if asked.

Do you like the ocean and it's inhabitants?

Well, not so much the shark, although it is a well perfected eating machine. {shivers} wink

@nereet - NICE!  Too small for my screen, but NICE!  And way to white!  smile

@hhh - I'll tell the Mrs. - she reads that site daily and while I was out today, left that open to show me when I got home.  That shark in the 9th image, almost, but not quite, looks like s/he has a 'friendly' smile.  smile

Re: Wallpapers

I was inspired by hhh's thread on customising BunsenLabs and set out to see how far I could go. I set my imagination loose, starting by putting on my Inkscape hat and making an uncharacteristically colourful wallpaper. I'm saving the desktop screenshot for June's thread big_smile

Re: Wallpapers

I've been using this folder with a wall switcher set to 15 minutes, it's pretty good. Heavy on the nature pics, but some other stuff helps balance it a bit.
