@PackRat, love how you make things work together!
Impressive, Ututo, but rolling the site

my jaw fell to the floor.
I spent an elapsed time of about 7 1/2 hrs working since seeing that post, I wanted it to look good...
I judiciously cropped the wall to 1920x1080 and processed it slightly to my liking...

That was done in under 10 minutes, the rest of the time was spent gradually theming, re-theming and taking a few breaks.
I'll upload the themes and icons another time. 8)

@hhh - nice work.
Plenty of nice shots this month.
Edit - new release of VSIDO this morning; BL-Moonlight gtk, rest is work in progress:
@hhh - saving me a lot of time making gtk themes match up with my earlier fluxbox themes. 8o

has the good news of oomox finally trickled down?
(amongst many other nice features, it has a button "create color scheme from wallpaper" or some such)

I've actually used it a couple.of.times.

@hhh - you need to throw that up on unixporn - you may get front page status with that one.
@ohnonot - is oomox any easier to use than wal/pywal? I found it (oomox) a slow mess, but that's me.

MW2K, hmm. That means using imgur and dealing with whatever needling details I'm missing in my post, so it gets rejected, so I add that detail and resubmit, oh I forget flair, resubmit, your title is inadequate, etc... And then a mod takes offense that I'm not using Arch and bans me.

I posted it to r/unixporn, I figure the exposure is good for BL. The post is, indeed, within the Top 6 "Hot Posts" on that subreddit within 30 minutes.

Yeah man, sweet! BTW, *dropped not droped in your droplet post.
@damo, I had looked at oomox months ago as I think ohnonot suggested it in the dev "lithium themes" thread I started, but I couldn't make it work. maybe I had fresh eyes this time, I sure am glad.
The icon customization is wonderful, as is the fact that it can extract and edit the @resource file for gtk3. What I don't get is how it writes the results back into another resource file, or how it extracts it in the first place. Such are the questions a layman has in a techno world.

apples and oranges.
pywal creates color schemes; oomox creates whole gtk/openbox/tint2/muchmore/whateveryouwant themes. yes, it's a hot mess, but it works well enough and once you got the theme you don't need to use it, until the fancy hits you again...

Gorgeous, Dobbie!
I will say that oomox makes a hot mess out of the GTK2 themes. But themes are a hot mess all around.

Assets, hex-codes and, gawd, RGB values in the rc files, @include files... sigh. Fucking assets.
Oh, I forgot menubar-toolbar. More colored png backgrounds in your window, yay!

Excuse me, Mr. @bronto. I would like to know how did you manage to have gaps between opened windows like in you sshot. I know you can set up margins in openbox, but between windows? Unless, of course, you set a particular windows size for each program in your rc file. it looks nice, like i3-gaps...
cheers
