i tried it, and some of the toolbar icons are way too small.

you also have spacefm there?
strange, it looks different from mine, well i use spacefm-ng, maybe that's why, but anyhow:
some toolbar icons are way too small, both on yours and on mine.

i think i will now go with Delft-Mint for a while.

Yeah i think the project is still in development, they have been doing some regular updating of the theme a lot. I do agree some icons are a bit small in some instances.

Im using SpaceFM 1.0.5 with my prefered edits to layout etc.

an update came in meanwhile, but this is still very far from perfect.

Man that conky looks good.  Excellent screenshot!

@hhh

Lol. It looked like I was about out of ram but that was using 1g and I had 15g free.

The ram usage is amazingly good though.  I’ve found a base install of 5.14 idles at 440 megs.  Super low for a full DE.

@deepdaze

For sure man.  I recommend playing around with the latest latte dock.  You can get just about any panel setup imaginable with it.

A quick look suggests that you could do...

$ pmrp | tee ~/tmp/radio.txt

Then use ${execi} in conky to read the last line, which is sometimes, but not always, the track which is playing. It could also be the previous track. Or more usually it is

ESC[1;32;44m Playlist ESC[0m:

It may look like...

Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov (1865-1936) - Concerto per violino e orchestra in la Maggiore Op.82 (19:38)  {+info: veniceclassicradio.eu}

- so good luck formatting that in a conky big_smile

My comment was firmly tongue-in-cheek, your fetch shows the story. smile

I have almost identical RAM-idle usage as you, ~420 out of 3G on 64 bits (running Plasma 5.13.5 on sid). 3G of RAM runs Plasma beautifully, but less than that might start causing problems I'd guess, depending on the programs being run.

Re: October 2018 Screenshots

On topic, pic or it didn't happen. Swap usage is zero out of 3G.

It's in the AUR big_smile

if you can query what it's playing while it's playing - but that's a big if.
you can write a custom script to do that and include its output with something like

${exec /path/to/script}

or if you want the script output to contain conky syntax:

${execp /path/to/script}

Is anyone in this thread using Helium? With the recent bunsen-mages upgrade, we've achieved the quickest, most seamless transition from the login environment to the desktop that I've ever seen, on any OS, DE, platform. etc...

Logging out so I can watch it again.

Re: October 2018 Screenshots

I never really did a proper dark theme for Helium, and I shy away from the default theme that I did do. I shouldn't.
