You know what, My sys did not last 24 hours without conky after that unintentional notice.
I thought conky it was substitutable but I realized a linux-system without conky is just an empty dish that's it.So, back in action, conky-std and a simple horizontal line seemed fascinating.

Agreed, it's a great album. I was lucky to catch them live in 2000 when they were promoting it.
Wow, You're so lucky!
And guess the album in my screenshot above
I think it's their second best album.

simple as usual. First time playing with tin2conf. I still prefer to use geany...

Windows 98 did this to me once, many years ago. Matisse everywhere.
I forget what incantation restored sanity, but you can replicate this on your own desktop if you want by editing .config/fontconfig/fonts.conf and replacing the fonts in the <family>fontname</family> sections with 'Matisse ITC'.
(Note, only the conky on the top left escaped - not sure why top-right got afflicted, both were 'Bitstream Vera Sans' instead of 'sans'.)

@ Johnraff, thats a strange error, how did that happen ?

I've no idea - weird it certainly was.
I think the fix had something to do with triggering a font reconfigure, but I haven't thought about Windows since the beginning of this century.

On my first very underpowered laptop (140MHz, 16MB) occasionally W98 would just freak out and go into a totally psychedelic rehash of the desktop for a while till it got its wits back together. Pity I haven't got a scrot of it.

for years I'd be searching for tintimage, tonimage so one day I just stared at it after damo reminded me ...
Word association, that's what I'll do ...
OK, I keep things in tins, screws, nails, etc. and
I see them with my eyes ... OK I got it. tineye RIGHT!
WRONG!
Next time I went looking I couldn't figure out why tincan didn't work ... then it hit, right between the lookers: tineye - laughed so hard calling myself a dummy I've never forgotten since.
