@Steve: nice!

You can get a volume (and battery) icon for tint2 with sysutils/tray-app, simply add these lines to ~/.xinitrc (or the openbox autostart file):

/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/sound &&
/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/battery &&
/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/eject &&

EDIT: remember to keep the base system in sync with the ports tree when installing new packages  wink

Calamares or refracta?
Calamares is new to me and was a bit of a pig to get installed with all the dependencies...

Matt's monitor is wonderful, with that space we can fill with all kinds of things and still remains pretty free space smile
