^ get the torrent from here https://devuan.org/

I use transmission.

I uncheck every option for the download and check the amd64 netinstall option. Be carefull when choosing option, make sure all the ticks are not ticked before downloading as it is one huge torrent file separated into options.

@dove, that's a beautiful image but why is your terminal font not monospaced?

How can you read man pages like that? hmm

If I need to read a man page it only takes a minute to change to system fixed width font

Or you could try:

man -Hfirefox man

Set the $BROWSER variable to be able to alias "man" to "man -H" for best effect  wink

Re: June 2017 Screenshots

Tried out OpenBsd through Virtualbox, crunchbanged/bunsenified it sort of  wink

Good learning experience so far. Not sure i would have it as a daily driver, dont know enough about BSD, yet.

Openbox, Xfce4 terminal, conky, tint2. Obconf and obmenu are there, lxappearance would have to be ported or built from source i think?

Conky seems to be in error on the ram usage, either that or screenfetch is.

Re: June 2017 Screenshots

@Steve: nice!

You can get a volume (and battery) icon for tint2 with sysutils/tray-app, simply add these lines to ~/.xinitrc (or the openbox autostart file):

/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/sound &&
/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/battery &&
/usr/local/libexec/tray-app/eject &&

EDIT: remember to keep the base system in sync with the ports tree when installing new packages  wink

Re: June 2017 Screenshots

^ Remember the FAQ!

https://www.openbsd.org/faq/

Quite literally everything that you need to know is either there or in the man pages.

For example:

“Et ignotas animum dimittit in artes.” — Ovid, Metamorphoses, VIII., 18.

You could support the old style "drive-in theatre" with that screen  smile

@dobbie - nice shots. Is DobbieBox2 available somewhere, or do I have to extract it from your ArchLabs iso?

Re: June 2017 Screenshots

@Dobbie03
Thanks man for trying...work in progress...I hope to have a 'real' alpha very soon.

P.S. Did you install to VB/HD OK?
Calamares or refracta?
Calamares is new to me and was a bit of a pig to get installed with all the dependencies...

Re: June 2017 Screenshots

@Pack, thanks man, git clone this my friend https://github.com/Dobbie03/dobbies-themes.git

@Pops, I installed to HDD. I used refracta, Calamares kept pooping itself maybe halfway through install.
