how come there is no option to boot-to-cli or something like that

Indeed. It would be nice if we could bake that into a BL system - I'm sure lots of people would appreciate it.

I'm not sure how that could be done, I suppose you could try hacking an addition to the `grub-mkconfig` script, I wouldn't know where to start with that though.

Re: stretch + bunsen-netinstall: no keyboard in X after installation

Interesting, Installed the input-evdev package before running the script. Ran the script. Installed into Vbox Version 5.0.32r. Everything worked as it were supposed to. No problem at all, all applications seems to have been pulled in by the script. Except from obmenu of course.

Weird that the result were so different when installing to hd. I wonder were it went wrong?

Anyway, cool to see it in all it`s grey glory! smile

Not sure either atm - with luck there might be a clean generic way. Maybe adding a 50_bl-cli file to /etc/grub.d/ ?

@hhh good point about noobs. But, I don't think such a "cli" menu entry would appear in the default grub menu. They'd have to choose the advanced options I guess?

@HoaS could you take a look at @damo's touchpad issue here? Could it be we have to go back to -synaptics and -evdev after all?

Re: stretch + bunsen-netinstall: no keyboard in X after installation

My 2 cents, I removed libinput from my stretch install. It didn't immediately solve my USB keyboard unresponsiveness, that didn't happen till I pulled GNOME off, but I've had no problems since.

We'll probably have to wait for a test ISO and some feedback to decide.

No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!
