^ Also, as long as systemd is PID1 then both `reboot` and `poweroff` can be called directly from dmenu as a normal user — that's what I always use, who has time to move a mouse around?

I just tried this from the dmenu ( meta + F3 ) and it worked a charm! Thanks HoaS!
