Howdy @Naik -
Downloaded the openbox_3.6.1-9_amd64.deb you provided, and the upgrade went without issues.
I'm running Debian, but can't imagine the package is any different. So far, no problems.
For others seeing this; Rounded corners are not "out of the box" with this install, but rather allows you to add the necessary lines to get the rounded corners without the white frame. (assuming this was your intention, and not somehow pre-enabled?)
In order to use rounded corners, you will need to add these lines to your Openbox rc.xml:
<cornerRadius>6</cornerRadius>
<cornerRadius menu="yes">6</cornerRadius>
These lines should be placed in the "theme" section of the file. I inserted mine at line 113 right before "</theme>"
Changing the number to whatever works for you.
As a side note, you can add these lines to any openbox install to get the rounded corners, but the frame around all the openbox windows is white without Naiks fix.
Please correct if I've missed something, or am off my rocker.
Well done:) Will you keep up with the versions? Hope so.

Thanks for the trust and glad to here it works for you.
I just build a package with a patch provided earlier in this thread by cpoaks. This would be way over my head!
I am not sure about the last question. IF there is a new version of openbox to come and IF it should be necessary to change stuff to keep it running on bullseye/later versions, we may meet here again.
For now I tried picom on my experimental Beryllium installation and really like it.

Unfortunately, 3.6.1-9+deb11u1 is in sid, and will replace this on upgrade. I haven't looked as to the Bullseye situation.
Anyhow, I am using this for my own computer, but would love to add it into future builds as well if possible. Sure does make things look nice:)

^ as for now I'm fine with picom on sid I wouldn't touch this now.
Are we sure that 3.6.1-9+deb11u1 will be on Bullseye?
I will take a look at this later that night, when being back home.
