It's just as pretty as my previous favorite, Whiskermenu. Why do I want a menu? No idea. There's nothing gmrun wouldn't do for me.
Then why not go with:
xfce4-appfinder -c
and get both. I don't recall gmrun having the pull-down menu option; but I haven't used it in a while:

You must unlearn what you have learned.

@Packrat; you still need to target launch button (compared to gmrun where there is no such thing).

I have it mapped to Alt+F2.
Nili: what is your icon theme?

It's called Snowy
I still don't know who is Author, Perhaps ZMA. I have saved this packages, in case the link goes down. I may upload to another host.

thanks for sharing this.
i'd like to point out something about this yandex disk you're using:
i'm using NoScript and RequestPolicy on firefox; even after allowing all requests & scripts, i still could not download the file.
i know that NoScript blocks other things besides js, and this cannot be disabled (i suppose this is because NoScript devs thinkt that these are potentially dangerous).
i had to open the link in a different browser to download the icons.
just saying.
edit: even so, the filename was so garbled that xarchiver wasn't able to deal with it until i renamed it "icons.tar.xz".

Thanks for letting us know ohnonot,
No problem, The hosting of icon package is not done by me.
ZMA provided the link. I'm using /etc/hots for Browser <- the hosts i use not doesn't block this page. YES, Perhaps it is not the ideal link, I know nothing about yandex. But in case anyone have trouble, Just let me know to upload myself somewhere else.
I have downloaded archive under name "Snowy icons.tar.xz" extraced with rar via command line or @SpaceFM file manager "extract here".
However, if someone stuck, we can fix both archive and saved host.

I really love your setup!! The colored bottom border on your tint2 is really cool and haven't seen it before.

Finally putting some effort into Openbox. Still a heap of messing around to do. Thanks to the BL guys for the conky.

ahh, i didn't realize that.
no point complaining, then.
instead i decided to host them myself. no fishy XSS, just a direct link.
the licensing is to be found inside index.theme.
you can link to this file from now on.

The 0.12.12 release won't contain the gradients and borders configuration AFAIK, so you need to build the latest gitlab/master.

With 0.12.12 from Sid, I am able to add the colored border at the bottom, which is what I was after.

Thanks for making new host ohnonot. To be fair, I didn't know early that would be somewhat complicated regarding renaming the rar or hostpage that conflicted with adblocks or noscript. Yes, your link looks more correct and direct.
Thanks again,
Edit:
Playing with DeaDBeeF settings also GTK2 isn't yet for the trash

Hi Dobbie, in your second scrot, what is that with your avatar in it? I can't quite make it out, even zoomed.
